I knew I wouldn't be able to take this serious look at a gay conversion camp, especially having seen the delightful (yet subversive) But I'm a Cheerleader years ago. Still, I could see this was sincere and well made. Desiree Akhavan directed and adapted the novel by Emily M. Danforth.
