This was better than I remembered, including when I rejected Ralph Breaks the Internet on this blog.  It's sweet and funny, with a very creative design sense.  Also, the voice acting is good.  I still find Vanellope somewhat annoying though, so I can't go above a B-.

Director Rich Moore co-wrote, and voiced Sour Bill and Zangief

The story, obviously based on then five-year-old events, was interesting, but I didn't care about the characters and would've rather have followed around other New Yorkers on that fateful morning.  And, yes, I'm rejecting another movie starring Nicolas Cage and/or directed by Oliver Stone.

I read the John Irving novel a couple times in my twenties, with mixed feelings, but I'd completely forgotten how much implied rape there is.  (Garth's conception, but also marital rape by Mr. Holm, and probably more incidents later.)  I tuned out well before Robin Williams showed up.  George Roy Hill directed, obviously after Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and The Sting.

This is sort of a clean-cut Orthodox Jewish version of Lysistrata, not feminist per se, since the women want to maintain that separate area of the title, but it is warm, human, and gently funny.  Except that the young rabbi is a complete villain, who is neither redeemed nor truly punished, which is why I can't go higher on my grade.  Emil Ben-Shimon directed.
