This was better than I remembered, including when I rejected Ralph Breaks the Internet on this blog.  It's sweet and funny, with a very creative design sense.  Also, the voice acting is good.  I still find Vanellope somewhat annoying though, so I can't go above a B-.

I'd never seen this before, although I saw Wreck-It Ralph in the theater and probably would've gone with a C+.  Anyway, this feels like it's made for people who actually care about these characters.  Phil Johnston and Rich Moore co-directed, and co-wrote with a bunch of people.

I saw and liked this at the time, but I do have to say that rewatching it a dozen years later, no one is living up to their potential here (except maybe Russell Brand), star/writer Segel in particular.  Still, it was fun spotting everyone, the Hawaiian scenery is of course lovely, and there are some scattered good lines.  Nicholas Stoller directed.
