This felt like a not particularly funny satire of many acquaintances I knew in Seattle in the 2000s (although the couple is from Brooklyn and this is recent). And I guess it becomes sci-fi comedy sometime after the first quarter hour. Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson co-directed and co-wrote.
