This is on a "Western Value" collection of sixteen movies, so we'll be here awhile.

So I tried to watch this once before, and I read some but not all of the book.  I still didn't like it this time, but it's not terrible.  (Still don't know what Emma Watson's accent was though.)  Stephen Chbosky adapted his novel and directed.
