This is on a four-movie set called "Gone Country" and I think there's a kernel of a good movie inside it, but I just couldn't get invested in it enough to sort through most of the characters or care as much as I'd like to about the leads.  Still, Nelson and Kristofferson have an easy-going bromantic chemistry and the songs are good, although I'm not a country music fan.  Alan Rudolph directed.

Cameron Crowe wrote and directed this charming, gently funny movie, which falls apart if you think about it too much.  Especially Dunst's character, who inspired the term "Manic Pixie Girl" apparently, although she's more cheerful than manic.
