Sort of creepy movie starring a young Mel Gibson and a not so young Piper Laurie as a potential couple.  (And it's not the age difference that bothered me most.)  This is based on the Colleen McCullough novel and directed by Michael Pate.

Hokey, leering, and hackneyed.  It would've been an F+ if not for the recognizable future stars (and I turned it off before Travolta).  This is of course based on the Stephen King novel and directed by Brian De Palma.
