I guess this turns into a political action thriller sometime after I tuned out, but what I saw was sort of a romance between two unappealing people who hook up within minutes, in a cab.  This is based on the often adapted Kenneth Fearing novel The Big Clock, and directed by Roger Donaldson, over twenty years before The Bank Job.

As with Courtship of Eddie's Father, it's hard for me to get into a comedy when I don't find any of the characters interesting or likable, despite a memorable cast.  Joel Schumacher directed.

I know this is supposed to be a "family" movie and I guess eventually a living dinosaur shows up, but the quarter hour I watched was a domestic drama, about an annoying, unhappily married, white couple in Africa, and he (no longer the Greatest American Hero) swears a lot, yes, in a Disney-by-another-name movie of the '80s.  I tuned out after the African pilot said he'd "whip the bitch" if it was his wife.  Bill Norton directed.
