The best thing here is the narration, giving it sort of a non-campy Ed Wood feel.  Alfred L. Werker and Anthony Mann co-directed, the latter the year before Border Incident, which was also a C.

A still timely story about illegal immigration from Mexico to California, this didn't draw me in enough to keep watching, but it's certainly better than most of the movies I've checked out from the library.  Anthony Mann directed.
