I tuned out before the mother character was raped, although a rabbit was killed onscreen.  Still, this movie, Van Cleef's last released Western, isn't as violent as some of the others in this collection, at least in the first quarter hour.  Joseph Manduke directed.

Ironically, the first movie in the "Great American Western" collection is pure spaghetti, although it does have Lee Van Cleef and Lionel Stander, and a joke about a "Negro" having to ride on the back of the stagecoach.  Also, the main character comes from "Europe."  Giorgio Stegani directed and co-wrote.
