Since I was 19 when this movie came out, I wasn't necessarily the target audience (both too young for the nostalgia and too old for a teen movie) but I was aware of it of course.  Watching it now, it seems a very '80s take on the early '60s, especially the very anachronistic hair.  I bumped it up from a D because there were moments (in the first quarter hour) where Grey got at the longing under her character's pretentiousness.  Emile Ardolino directed.
