While there were things I liked about this, especially the look of it, it is marred by sometimes slow plotting, unnecessary sexism, and the wrong kind of cheesiness.  This is based on the H.G. Wells novel and directed by George Pal.

Bigscreen release of the TV show (reviewed here https://reviewingsometvshowsidontown.blogspot.com/2018/09/ducktales-send-in-clones.html), marred by vague racism (white hero ducks, brown rat stereotypical Arabs) and definite sexism.  (What I thought might've been Scrooge's niece or grand-niece turns out to be the dumb, pink-wearing friend of Huey, Louie, and Dewey.)  Bob Hathcock directed.
