I enjoyed this movie at the time, much more than I expected, but today it just seems really cheesy, and I was annoyed that the librarian arranges her books alphabetically by title.  Stephen Sommers directed a decade before G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

Somewhat cheesy but amiable not-quite-adaptation of the Jules Verne novel.  I like that there are character interactions despite all the action and special effects.  Eric Brevig directed.

Goofy, amiable movie that never quite hits the heights of the cartoon, although bless it for trying.  Opens with an actual Fractured Fairytale cartoon featuring a cameo with the then seemingly eternal June Foray.  (She'd die at 99 in 2017.)  Hugh Wilson wrote and directed.
