An uneven eighteen minutes of Fieldsian absurdity, e.g. the "milk the elk" sequence.  I like the twists on the cliches of melodrama but found the short surprisingly slow-moving.  Note that Prohibition wouldn't be officially repealed until December 5th of that year.  Clyde Bruckman, of Keaton's The General, directed.
