Although I was and to some degree still am a Harry Potter fan, I don't think I made it to even the half-hour mark of the first Fantastic Beasts movie on DVD, and this time I gave up fifteen minutes in. I just don't find the characters or situations interesting, although the sets, costumes, etc., are impressive. David Yates directed and Rowling wrote the screenplay.
This is the sixth Johnny Depp movie I've rejected (he plays Grindelwald), although I have accepted two.
