This formulaic romcom might've worked if, one, the initial love interests were at all appealing (I mean personalities, not appearances); two, it weren't immediately clear that the two naive and "nice" characters were going to end up with each other (and I didn't even see them in a scene together); and three, the stereotypes had at least been entertaining. Namrata Singh Gujral plays "Shelley" and wrote the script, while Lorraine Senna directed.
