This presents itself as a mockumentary, although it doesn't really have the look or sound of a documentary, and I couldn't help wondering how it would've fared in the hands of, well, Christopher Guest, or as a straight-up comedy without all that talking to the camera. The only character I didn't find annoying was the one played by Cuoco, and that wasn't much of a stretch from Penny on The Big Bang Theory. Ellie Kanner directed.
