Well, I didn't outright hate this.  I mean, of course I didn't like it, but at least now I get the "THIS IS SPARTA!!!" references people like to make, and the color palate was sort of interesting.  I had to ignore everything I know about Spartans, like that they weren't exactly homophobic, but I assumed that this story is more meant to be a legend than documentary-like realism.
