A kid grows at a freakishly fast rate, which is good because he destroys a statue as a baby and has to make amends when "he grows up." So when he looks like he's about eight, he wants to hang out with his best friend, playing pirates and pretending to kidnap girls, but then the town pressures him to become a balloonist, as a '50s-like teen hood bullies him by shutting him in a chicken coop. Yeah, I think something got lost in the translation.
Karsten Kiilerich wrote and directed, and I think this is based on a book.
